A powerful Somaliland delegation has met Kenya’s Head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua in Nairobi in efforts to cement diplomatic relations between the two countries. Somaliland delegation that met Kinyua in Nairobu.
The delegation comprising Somaliland’s Minister of National Planning and Finance Hassan Gafadhi and his counterpart Saad Ali Shire met Kinyua in a second deliberate convention to improve the two countries’ ties.
TUKO.co.ke understands the talks focused on opening and operationalising Kenya’s Consul in Hargeisa in Somaliland and commencement of direct flights from Kenya’s capital Nairobi. , in the memorandum, Uhuru and Bihi made an agreement to expand bilateral trade, enhance cooperation in air transport besides working jointly in advancing agriculture, livestock development, education and energy sectors.
